Does it snow in Cary NC?
YES! Like everything else in this area, in
moderation. That is the beauty of living in the "northern-south", we
get a touch of all the season but not the harsh, brutal extremes.
We do get snow, just enough to make it a novelty.
When snow is predicted there's an energy in the air, Cary residents
prepare for school closings, and the sleds come out. The kids
hit the hills no matter the amount of snow in Cary.
When we moved here 15 years ago the only form of snow removal was the sun! Now the Town of Cary and surrounding cities have become more proavtive.
This is our second snow of the season. The bonus is that it's a Saturday!
Interesting stat I heard today on the news. This winter it has snowed in 49 of the 50 states.

I heard that stat too. Amazing winter we're having. I, for one, am quite ready for it to be over.... LOL

Our snow is already melting, looking for a high of 44 today. Gotta love the South!
Linda....49 of 50 states--wow I was amazed when I heard that stat. I guess snow removal equipment is useful most everywhere. I will be glad when our snow is over.
I wonder which state has not had snow. My first guess would be Hawaii, but I think even they have mountains high enough to get snow.
